Early Am while fishing for Steelhead I caught this 20 LB wild Silver Salmon. First fish on my new 13 ft Thomas and Thomas DOUBLE HANDED Spey Rod that I just bought from Lost Creek Fly Shop. This beast put the rod to the test, and the rod smiled under the buckle. I released this fresh wild Coho.

The Cow drops and the fishing gets better. It's been awhile since my last post but the water has been 10,600 cfs so the flyfishing has been a little tough. Jim went 3 for 2 this morning after going 0 for 7? The water level is 7,500 cfs which is still high but there is a few good flyfishing spots if you know where to go!

Took this crome winter buck with sealice before the storm hits! Look right by the anul fin you see the sealice. Beulah Platnuim 13' 2" 7wt was the rod of choice for these Cowlitz River winter runs
