Running lines need to cast far with no tangles. They need to do this under a wide range of fishing conditions. Airflo Ridged running lines help people cast farther with less tangles than other running lines. Our running lines were developed using a completely new type of fly line technology.  Utilizing new manufacturing equipment and processes, Airflo created a line that has ridges running the length of the line. The ridges lessen the lines surface contact with the guides. Less surface contact with the guides = less friction = better double hauls and more distance. Conversely when in the hand the ridges provide more surface contact and help grip the line when your hands are wet or cold. No matter what condition you might come across while fishing, ridges on the line will help increase the performance of a fly line. The ridges also prevent the lines from “grabbing” other loops of line that are in a stripping basket or on the deck of the boat helping avoid tangles.

Airflo Pre-looped  Ridge running lines use a new proprietary low memory low stretch PowerCore. This new core material with its limited stretch makes it easier to feel a fish take the fly and thus “stick” him. This running line will help improve your fish hooked to fish landed ratio.

Airflo Ridge lines are constructed using a patented material and process. Only Airflo lines are made from Polyurethane using the patented PolyFuse technology. PolyFuse is a process that bonds two separate layers of Polyurethane to either braided core or mono core material. The ability to independently vary the thickness and density of either the inside layer or outside layer is unique to Airflo lines and gives Airflo the ability to vary the density, buoyancy, weight, and stiffness at any point during the manufacturing process. The outer coating is made with higher levels of lubricants and is ridged to provide lower friction in the guides than ever before.

Just like many things in the two-hand market we yanks looked at what is happening in Europe and found a product that we just had to have. What we found was a Miracle. Miracle braid was developed by Scandinavian anglers for the underhand style of casting, this permanent buoyancy braid shoots incredibly well and incorporates a semi-stiff high float central core. The braid has a stiffness and slickness that helps funnel line thought the guides eliminates tangling. Like all braided products Miracle Braid is less affected by temperature than Mono or regular fly line. Unlike a stack of chips in Vegas, M-braid is easy to hold onto even when you wet cold hands feel like they are going to crack and fall off. M-braid gives you an excuse to spend more time on the w w w w wat t t t er.

This is the new version of the old FS Shooter by guideline. This one had a slightly intermediate density and shoots a mile, probably the furthest of all the Guideline running lines.

Our newest addition to the range is an old classic in a new, improved, technologically more advanced shape. This shooting line is solid, oval and slow sinking. It is known for being the most durable and dependable of the shooting line types. It stretches easily when you pull it and the line shows a lesser friction than most lines of similar type. It is also showing higher strength to the diameter than its earlier versions.
